A money order is a form of payment that credits the payee with a specific amount.
It’s a lot like a check except that the order has been paid for in advance, and is not taken from a bank account after being cashed. It can be a more reliable way of paying money to someone than giving them cash.

Fill out a money order form
Bring cash to cover the money order, and fill out the money order in detail.
Deliver your money order
This can be done in person or by sending it through the mail.
